Fusion of Japan\u2019s Largest Urban Sports Event and Metaverse<\/strong><\/p>\n

J&J Business Creation Corporation, a joint venture between JTB Corporation and JCB Corporation, which announced its collaboration with XANA and acquisition of LAND in October 2022, will host one of Japan’s largest urban sports festivals, YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (“YUSF”). YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS FESTIVAL 2023 (hereinafter referred to as “YUSF”), the official event, will be held at the urban sports space “ZONE-X” in the world of J&J Business Creation built on the XANA Metaverse.<\/p>\n

Engaging Metaverse Experience<\/h2>\n

YUSF2023’s Metaverse Zone recreates various sports stages like breakdance, parkour, and skateboarding in a 3D virtual setting. The project is in collaboration with FINE PLAY, Japan’s prominent action sports and street culture magazine. Participants can immerse themselves in archived images, highlight videos from the previous YUSF2022, and special interview videos with renowned athletes, all within the Metaverse.<\/p>\n
