How do I participate?
You can participate from a smartphone, tablet, or PC. XANA will send motion capture equipment so you can participate from home.
Do I need expensive equipment to participate?
No. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or PC. It would help if you’d record yourself with a good microphone for clear audio.
What do I need to do in weekly recordings?
We will hold a real-time event, once a week. You will choose from different themes and perform your song. You will also complete simple tasks in the Metaverse.
Will my identity be revealed?
No. You’ll be represented by a virtual avatar, similar to a V-Tuber, with a fictional backstory. This will ensure your personal information stays private.
Are original songs compulsory for the competition?
Not necessarily. Original songs have a distinct personality but aren’t the requirement. You can perform a cover of your favorite song, considering the weekly theme. 12 songs will be prepared, one for each week.
What are the evaluation criteria?
Your singing, your voice, and your personality. Having an avatar ensures the audience evaluations are as unbiased as possible. Results will be published regularly.
How do I audition for XANA DIVA?
You’ll film yourself Singing and Dancing (not mandatory) and share it with us. Don’t forget to introduce yourself in the video.
