Let’s try rotating and placing objects in XANA:Builder.
How to use Rotate in the menu
1. Select the object you want to rotate.
2. Click on “Rotate”.
Tilt the object forward and backward using the mouse (rotate along the x-axis).
3-1-1. If you want to tilt the object forward and backward, hover your cursor over the red circle.
3-1-2. When you hover your cursor over it, the color of the yellow circle changes.
3-1-3. While it’s in this changed state, drag your mouse up and down. This action will tilt the object forward and backward.
Swing the object left and right using the mouse (rotate along the y-axis).
3-2-1. If you want to swing the object left and right, hover your cursor over the light green circle.
3-2-1. If you want to swing the object left and right, hover your cursor over the light green circle.
3-2-3. While it’s in this changed state, drag your mouse left and right. This action will swing the object left and right.
Tilt the object left and right using the mouse (rotate along the z-axis).
3-3-1. If you want to tilt the object left and right, hover your cursor over the blue circle.
3-3-2. When you hover your cursor over it, the color of the yellow circle changes.
3-3-3. While it’s in this changed state, drag your mouse left and right. This action will tilt the object left and right.
How to enter the rotation angle numerically
To tilt the object forward and backward (rotate along the x-axis):
Enter the desired angle value for tilting forward and backward directly into the “x” rotation of the Rotation property.
To swing the object left and right (rotate along the y-axis):
Enter the desired angle value for swinging left and right directly into the “y” rotation of the Rotation property.
To tilt the object left and right (rotate along the z-axis):
Enter the desired angle value for tilting left and right directly into the “z” rotation of the Rotation property.
