Transform 2023: Revolutionizing Object Interaction in Virtual Environments

Let’s try transforming an object using the Transform feature.

What is Transform?

It is a game component for transforming objects in the XANA app.

There are three types of transformations: ‘Position Move,’ ‘Scale,’ and ‘Tilt.’ By checking the features you want to use, it is possible to use them in combination.

Move between two specified points (Piston Move)

Scale the object to two specified sizes (Scale)

Tilt the object towards two specified points (Tilt)

How to set up Transform

Position Move: Move between two points

1. Select the object and click on the location of the red circle. This will display a list of components.

2. Click on ‘Transform’.

3. Check the checkbox next to ‘Position Move’.

4. Set the details for ‘Position Move’.

Start Value Enter the coordinates (x, y, z) for the starting point.
End Value Enter the coordinates (x, y, z) for the folding point.
Speed Set the speed for moving between the starting point and the folding point.
Curve Prop Set the movement style between the starting point and the folding point.
The settings for ‘Position Move’ include:

Scale: Enlarge or reduce to two specified sizes.

1. Select the object and click on the location of the red circle. This will display a list of components.

2. Click on ‘Transform’.

3. Check the checkbox next to ‘Scale’.

4. Enter the details for ‘Scale’.

Start Value Enter the magnification factor for the size before scaling (x, y, z).
End Value Enter the magnification factor for the size after scaling (x, y, z).
Speed Set the speed for scaling.
Curve Prop Set the movement during the two size changes.
The settings for ‘Scale’ include:

Tilt: Tilt towards two specified directions.

1. Select the object and click on the location of the red circle. This will display a list of components.

2. Click on ‘Transform’.

3. Check the checkbox next to ‘Tilt’.

4. Enter the details for ‘Tilt’.

Start Value Enter the starting tilt of the object in angles (x, y, z).
End Value Enter the ending tilt of the object in angles (x, y, z).
Speed Set the speed for moving the tilt of the object.
Curve Prop Set the movement style for the tilt.
