I will install XANA:Builder from the XANA website.
Download the app from the official site.
Let’s download it from the official XANA website (http://xana.net/app).
1. Go to the official XANA website and click on “Download” from the “Menu” on the left side of the screen.
2. After clicking on “Download,” you will see options for “Mac” and “Win.” Decide which version to download based on the PC you want to install the app on.
If the PC you are using is a Mac
1. If the PC you want to install on is a Mac, click on “XANA Builder (Mac)” to download the app.
2. Choose the location to save the downloaded file and save it.
3. When you launch the file you just saved, the installation screen will appear. Please move the XANA icon to the Applications folder.
4. This completes the installation of the Mac version of XANA:Builder.
If the PC you are using is Windows
1. If the PC you want to install on is Windows, click on “XANA Builder (Win)” to download the app.
2. Launch the downloaded file and proceed with the installation.
3. If you have antivirus software such as “Windows Defender” installed, you might see a screen like the one described. In this case, click on “More info.” (If such a screen does not appear, please proceed to step 5.)
4. After clicking “More info” in step 3, a screen like the one described will appear. Please click on “Run.”
5. A screen like the one described below will appear, so click on “Yes.”
6. The installation screen for XANA:Builder will start. Click on “Next.”
7. If there are no changes to the installation destination, click on “Next.” If you want to change it, do so by clicking on “Browse…”
8. Click on “Next.”
9. Click on “Install.”
10. Please wait until the installation is complete.
11. The installation is complete. Click “Finish” to exit.
